ECR Cheer squads are comprised of students from El Camino Real High School. Varsity and Junior Varsity squads make up the team.
The 2008-2009 cheerleading squads consist of young ladies from 9th - 12th grades. Each girl completed a lengthy tryout demonstrating her abilities, and cheerful attitude, which best represent the qualities of high school cheer.

Did You Know?
- ECR cheerleaders support many teams and school sponsored activities.
- This school year alone, the team will have cheered for Football, Boys' and Girls' Basketball, Boys' and Girls' Volleyball, Track and Field and wrestling. Support of these sports are on top of their normal class schedule including homework, outside activities, etc.
- The 2008-2009 school year has 20 Varsity Cheerleaders and 21 Junior Varsity Cheerleaders!
- ECR Cheerleaders attend a summer camp to prepare for the physical demands of stunting, tumbling and overall fitness.
- ECR Cheerleaders pariticipate in a variety of fundraisers to help offset their costs. Bake sales, gift wrapping, laser tag are just few of the things they have done to raise funds. - ECR Cheerleaders are responsible to purchase their own uniforms and accessories which represent their high school.
- ECR cheerleaders must maintain a GPA of satisfactory or better to be on the team.
